Rebote 2.5 Delay
Sweet sounding delay with adjustable repeats. Uses the popular PT2399 chip. This is the 2.5 version of the Rebote, see link section for a link to Tonepad where you can find two more layouts. It's perfectly possible to fit this into a 1590B, but there's not a lot of room left. There'll be no battery, that's for sure, at least not the way I mount it.Layout and Transfer
This layout is based on Tonepads layout, but I've moved things around and generally squeezed it enough to fit a 1590B with the pots board mounted. The 150K resistor across the delay pot is a mod and can be excluded.
Please note that if you're mounting the potentiometers on board as I have, there needs to be a small gap between the board and the pot. If you put the middle (Level) pot as close to the board as possible it will probably short against the track that goes "above" the holes for the pots.
There's a jumper, just above the led, under the resistors (47k, 24k, 12k). A bit hard to spot on the layout. To the right of that jumper, in line with the 12k resistor there's another 12k that has its right leg bent down to the row below. I like to place my components horizontal or vertical and had to cheat a little on that one.
I made some value substitutions on this build. All 24k resistors were subbed with 22k. 5pF and 51pF capacitors were subbed with 4.7pF and 47pF respectively. As far as I can tell it sounds just right.
Led should as usual go on the track side of the board.
